Are you able to access any secure websites at all? Please try accessing the link below:
If you are unable to access that website, please take the following steps
For Internet Explorer:
- Click Tools
- Click Internet Options
- On the ‘General’ tab, click ‘Delete’.
- Click the button near the bottom which says ‘Delete All’ then click ‘Yes’ to confirm.
- Click the ‘Advanced’ tab
- Scroll down the list of options and make sure the following options are selected: Use SSL 3.0 and Use TLS 1.0
- Click Ok, then close and reopen Internet Explorer and try to access the site again.
- If the above options were already selected, click the “Reset” button. This restores IE to its default settings, but should be used as a last resort.
For Mozilla Firefox:
- Click Firefox Button/ Tools
- Click Options
- Click the ‘Advanced’ tab
- Click on Encryption (Tabs below)
- Check the boxes for SSL 3.0 and TLS 1.0
- Click Ok, then close and reopen Mozilla Firefox and try to access the site again.
For Opera:
- Click Tools
- Click ‘Preferences’
- Click ‘Security’ in the left pane.
- In the right pane, click the button labelled ‘Security Protocols’
- On the applet which opens, check the boxes next to ‘Enable SSL 3’ and ‘Enable TLS 1’ and click ‘OK’
- Click ‘Ok’ again to close the ‘Preferences’ window. Close and re-open Opera and try to access the site again.
If you have taken these steps and are still unable to access the intranet, check with your systems administrator; you may be behind a firewall or proxy server which does not allow secure sites. Alternatively, you may send us an email.
